T'was the Night Before #LeConte27

T'was the Night Before LeConte27, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Their backpacks were packed with care in hopes that they would not see a bear. The hikers were nestled all snug in their beds while visions of summits danced in their heads.

Wow. That took me a lot longer to write than it should have! Another wow, tomorrow is the day! We have worked  on our mission since late July when it was conspired. We cannot believe that it is here.

Tomorrow (and some of the 28th) we will be hiking all five approach trails to Mt. LeConte in recognition of the over 27 million human trafficking victims worldwide.

Thank you for all the support you've given us! We have raise a total of around $500 for MLI and awareness of the human trafficking industry because of your help (and we certainly aren't done yet!).

But, for now, we have one more thing to ask of you:

If able to, please join us tomorrow on our hike for humanity. Whether you hike a trail to Mt.LeConte (we might see each other!), another trail in the Smokies, or another trail in this world, do it in recognition of the 27 million victims of human trafficking and post a picture of your hike with the hashtag #leconte27.

Happy hiking!
