Why is Taylor Wearing Nail Polish?!?

Hello everyone!

It has been little over a month since the LeConte27 team hiked around 30 miles to raise awareness for over 27 million victims of the human trafficking industry. With all of your donations and support we have raised a total of over $2,800 for Missio Link International's efforts to combat HT. We were so surprised and  extremely happy and grateful for the the overwhelming support we received . With the help of all of you, we have been able to raise awareness and start conversations about the problem of HT.

We plan to have an even bigger and better LeConte27 (LeConte2.07, per say) this coming June where we will hike all 6 trails to LeConte (42 miles) and in 24 hours like our original plan.

However,

That is nearly 5 months away. So, in the meantime, we plan to continue as an instrument of HT awareness by informing you all about events, volunteer opportunities, prayer sessions, fundraisers, movements, and other thing involving combatting human trafficking.

Instead of blogposts, we will be primarily using our Facebook and Twitter pages to spread this info.

Now, to answer the question that probably attracted you to this article in the first place, Taylor is INDEED wearing nail polish, and hopefully Austin will as well!

We are doing this as part of a campaign called Polished Man to raise awareness about child abuse, specifically child sex-trafficking, around the world by challenging guys to paint one of their fingernails to show that 1 out of 5 children in this world will be victims of abuse before they are an adult.

I (Taylor) would post a picture of my fingernail, but I painted it myself if that tells you anything. I plan to start this challenge this upcoming Monday (2/1). I will post a picture then with the #PolishedMan on all of our accounts and my personal account and I encourage all you guys out there to do the same!
