Stick in the Mud Thanksgiving Week Challenge!!!

After a long four months of impromptu "teleconference" calls and longwinded emails since the birth of LeConte27, Minta and I have finally reunited!

We had the amazing opportunity to talk to Melanie Tucker at The Daily Times here in Maryville about our mission. Expect to see Bob the Builder and Blueberry in the "press" in the weeks to come!

But as of right now, we have a challenge for everyone reading this.

We are calling it "Stick in the Mud" challenge, and you'll be a real one if you don't take it!

Here's the challenge:

Step 1: Hike, bike, run, walk, breath in the fresh air of nature! (Grab some friends or relatives while you're at it!)

Step 2: While on your adventure, find a patch of mud, dirt, sand, (wet concrete?)...

Step 3: Grab a nearby stick

Step 4: As seen above, draw the LeConte27 logo in the "mud".  (start with the "2", make the "7" into the mountain peak)


Step 5: Take a picture of your beautiful
masterpiece AND a picture of yourself
 on your adventure and post it to our
Facebook page, comment on this post,
and/or email it to wtdrake0717@gmail.com to receive a FREE LeConte27 sticker!

Strong Start, Hopeful Future!

We are almost as excited as this puppy to tell everyone that we have raised a total of $250 so far! With only 40 days left until our trek, we are off to a good start all thanks to those who have donated! Without your gracious support, our mission would not be possible and the victims of human trafficking would be forgotten. We ask for continued thoughts and prayers for our mission and our cause, the over 27 million victims of human trafficking. Your support shines light in our lives as it will in the lives of many helped by Missio Link International.
